Since I shared 25 Healthy Holiday Dessert Recipes in my last post, I thought I would switch it up and go in the complete opposite direction of…breakfast!
Do you have a special family breakfast that a loved one makes every holiday? Something that as soon as you smell it, all those wonderful memories flood your mind?
Well, for me, it’s cinnamon buns. That warm cinnamon smell coupled with the sweet frosting…perfection! Oh, and shout to my brother and sister who would always fight with me over who got the soft and gooey middle bun. 😆
As my boys have gotten older (how are they 6 and 8?!) I've experimented with different recipes and different kinds of breakfasts. I’ve done a more savory egg dish, french toast casseroles, and even tried a strata. I’ve realized, it doesn’t really matter what it is, but having that warm breakfast to eat together on Christmas morning - that’s what matters for me. The family togetherness and wonderful Christmas memories are what will forever be etched in my mind.
So as I was searching for new breakfast recipe options, I decided to get together a tasty collection of healthy holiday breakfasts for all of you! Maybe it will help shake up your usual holiday breakfasts or even help you start a new tradition.
